Child Sponsorship Project in Dhading District, Bagmati Province

The  Child Sponsorship Project , initiated in September 2023, is a collaborative effort between The Help for Nepal (HFN) and Transformation Nepal (TFN). This initiative is focused on providing financial support for the education of 40 selected children from the Dhading district, specifically in the areas of Malekhu and Aaibang (Chepang area) within Benighat Rorang rural municipality wards 3 and 9.

Project Objectives:

The primary goal of the Child Sponsorship Project is to enable children from vulnerable backgrounds, including full orphans, semi-orphans, and those from poor and marginalized communities, to complete their secondary education. This aligns with TFN’s broader vision of ensuring a life of dignity and respect for all people through comprehensive development in social, economic, physical, and mental domains.

Project Scope and Support:

Target Groups: The project targets children who are full orphans, semi-orphans, and those from economically disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
Educational Institutions: Support is provided to 40 children across eight schools in the specified regions.
Areas Covered: The project is operational in Malekhu and Aaibang (Chepang area) in Benighat Rorang rural municipality wards 3 and 9.

Vision and Mission of TFN

Transformation Nepal (TFN) is dedicated to the holistic development of vulnerable and marginalized individuals in Nepal.  Immediate Objectives

The immediate objective of the Child Sponsorship Project is to create educational opportunities for orphans, poor, and marginalized children, facilitating their completion of secondary education. This initiative is a critical step toward breaking the cycle of poverty and enabling these children to achieve a better future through education.
